Dear Friend
The significant lesson from David’s life is that he didn’t run away from his feelings. He named his discouragement and sadness and turned to God. David begins and ends with hope and dependence on God. His desire for God is like thirst: a vital need, not simply a handful of emotions. Your emotions are part of you. Each feeling you experience has a function and a purpose. God’s love is greater than our emotions and challenges. Psalm 42:5 - “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again.” My prayer. Heavenly Father, I praise Your Holy Name. You are the LORD! Your goodness and mercy have no end. Thank You that I can put my feelings and emotions before You and ask You to bring healing where I need it. Please anoint me with the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Sorry for the lateness of our Friends Newsletter. In the middle of the process, our hosting company decided to implement security updates. Thank you for understanding. Put your hope in Him and praise Him again!
