Dear Friend
God can do far more than you expect. The challenge is that you only see what you are looking for. If you expect bad things, you will be biased towards quickly identifying anything that threatens you. You are even seeing threats and bad news that has nothing to do with you. Bad news feeds unbelief and hopelessness without distinguishing fake stories. Let today be the day you expect to have a consistent, healthy relationship with God. Choose to open your eyes for His blessings, goodness, and mercy wherever you go. Decide to see the wonder and beauty in His creation. Trust God all the time! Ephesians 3:20 MSG - God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. My prayer. Heavenly Father, there are times when media and stories about bad news, war and corruption are more in the foreground than Your Word. I choose to believe all Your Promises. Please give me the gift of faith by Your Spirit (Eph. 2:8-9), in the same way that You granted me salvation. Thank You that Your gift of faith enables me to rise above pressures and problems that might otherwise cripple me. LORD, make my faith an unshakable trust in You to deliver on Your promises, no matter what. Thank you that I can trust in you, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. God has done things for you that you couldn't even dream of.
